Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair Terms Of Use

Welcome to Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair, your trusted partner for appliance repair needs. Our team of service technicians is dedicated to providing high-quality, transparent, and professional appliance repair services.

You agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page by engaging our services. These terms of service govern all repair work, including but not limited to dishwasher repair, dryer repair, refrigerator repair, washer repair, and microwave repair.

We encourage you to read these terms carefully before using our services. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICE CHARGE
When scheduling a service call, we charge a non-refundable fee for diagnostics, travel, and technician time. This fee will be disclosed before the time of service and is due upon completion of the repair service, whether or not you choose to proceed with the recommended repair work.

The service fee helps cover our costs for sending a skilled appliance service technician to your location, diagnosing the issue, and providing a solution. This fee is separate from any costs associated with parts and labor should you decide to proceed with the appliance repair.

PAYMENT TERMS AND COLLECTION COSTS
Payment is due after service unless an alternate arrangement is agreed upon in writing. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover)

Any returned check or declined payment will incur an additional $50. Suppose a balance remains unpaid after the completion of service. In that case, Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair reserves the right to pursue collection efforts, including legal fees, court costs, and applicable interest, at a maximum rate allowed by law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring full payment at the time of service and for any associated service charges related to collection efforts.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair guarantees the quality of its repair services. We offer a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for our technicians’ repairs.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover:

  • Improper use or installation of an appliance
  • Pre-existing appliance malfunction not related to the service performed
  • Repairs made using non-standard materials
  • Damage caused by water supply issues, electrical junction boxes, or water drainage requirements
  • Issues due to component failure unrelated to the repair work

If an issue arises within the warranty period, please get in touch with us immediately, and we will assess the problem.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
While we take pride in providing high-quality appliance repair services, Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair shall not be held liable for:

  • Consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage due to refrigerator repair delays, lost business revenue, or personal inconvenience.
  • Property damage may occur during the repair service, including but not limited to damage to flooring, countertops, cabinetry, or water damage caused by pre-existing issues.
  • Any damage caused by improper use of an appliance or component failure that is unrelated to our repair.

Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the repair service.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that these terms and conditions form the complete agreement between you and Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair and supersede any prior verbal or written agreements.

These terms of use are the governing document for any appliance repair services provided.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The laws of Colorado State govern these terms of service. Any disputes arising from services performed will be resolved through binding arbitration by the applicable regulatory requirements in Auburn, WA.

If arbitration is not applicable, disputes will be handled in a court of law in Colorado State.

DAMAGE WAIVERS
Certain appliance repair services involve the risk of damage. By requesting repair work, you acknowledge and accept these damage waivers.

Waiver of Damages When Moving an Appliance
Moving a major appliance can damage flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and nearby structures. Our repair technicians take every precaution to minimize risks, but Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair is not liable for any damage that may occur during the repair process.

Waiver of Damages When Working with Water
Appliances connected to water supply lines (such as dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines) pose unintended leakage or water damage risks.

While our technicians ensure proper installation and repairs, we are not responsible for damage caused by water valves, water supply connections, or component failure that may result in leaks after the service is completed.

Waiver of Damages from Failed Cooling Equipment
Refrigerators, freezers, and other cooling systems contain complex components that can fail unexpectedly. Even after a successful repair, component failure may occur, leading to food spoilage, discomfort, or business losses.

Using our appliance repair services, you accept that Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair shall not be held liable for any consequential damages resulting from refrigerator repair or other cooling system failures.

Waiver of Damages from Lifting a Glass Cooktop
Lifting a glass or ceramic cooktop to access internal components can cause breakage. While our technicians follow industry best practices, we do not guarantee that the glass will remain intact.

By proceeding with cooktop repair, you accept full responsibility for any breakage that may occur during the repair process.

RIGHT TO MODIFY TERMS
Rocky Mountain Appliance Repair reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Customers are encouraged to review this service agreement periodically to stay informed about any updates or changes.
